So, I'm on a diet at the moment. I'm on the Atkins but my variation of it. Basically I try and eat absolutely no carbs.
It's good as I lose weight quicker n get to have sometimes have treats such as chocolate and sweets.
My daily menu consists of the following:
Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs
Lunch: Tuna 50g with tbsp of Mayo
Tea: 2 scrambled eggs
Dinner: 150g Tuna patties (recipe below)
This diet is also called meat and egg fast or the keckwick diet. Basically just eating natural fats such as butter, oil and Mayo and meats such as chicken, fish and red meat. I don't eat too much red meat as it's not good for you.
I still drink my daily tea even though dr Atkins advises not to, I also have milk in my tea, I can't drink tea without milk.
I don't really have time to do exercise but I'm still losing weight it would be nice to exercise and tone up.
When I do get the chance to exercise, I use Gillian Michael's 30 day shred, it's only a 20 minute workout but it is hardcore. When I do this workout my muscles are aching for days.
Tuna Patties recipe
150g Tuna
1 Egg
1/2 Onion chopped
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp curry powder
Desired amount of chilli
Mix all ingredients together well and then divide into 2.
Heat a little oil in a frying pan and then take 1/2 of the mixture and shape it into a pattie and drop on to the oil.
Do the same fir the other half, cover the pan and then lower the heat.
Keep checkin the patties and turn when one side is golden. When both sides are golden brown, serve and eat.
I like to have my patties with sone hot peri-peri sauce.
